These silk buttons were sourced and developed by me, from the silk to the metal shanks.

I first came across silk buttons while browsing Mood, but wasn’t satisfied with how costly it became to use 10+ buttons for a single garment. It pushed me to create a cost effective alternative.

The result is a button that’s functional and thoughtfully made. It’s something I use in my own knitting projects and something I’ll continue to refine.
